Jun Shi

Hello, Everyone. I am very honored to have this opportunity to let you all know more about me. My name is Jun Shi, and I come from a quiet city in northern China. I have been living in American for almost three years. Even though I am now a freshman at Mt. San Antonio College, I have already been studying here for two and a half years. During the first two years of studying in Mt. SAC ESL department, with the help of gorgeous professors and lovely classmates, I gradually adapted to American life and also learned a lot of knowledge. Some knowledge gave me a chance to discover and enter a better spiritual world; Some knowledge can benefit me for the rest of my life. In my Mt. SAC study life, I met a lot of good people. They have been selflessly contributing to the community and trying their best to build a better environment. They gave me the courage and unyielding confidence to aim higher and reach higher; It was they who created a wonderful world and brighter future for me and many other students. I would like to take this precious chance to thank every one of you in Mt. SAC for your efforts and kindness. At the same time, I also have a strong and complex feeling for Mt. SAC. Because for me, Mt. SAC is not only a place for everyone to learn and progress together, but also a place that carries beautiful dreams and warmth. Moreover, everyone is able to get equal treatment and support. I am very lucky to be in Mt. SAC and also really enjoy every moment here. This is the reason why I firmly and actively participated in the election when I learned that as a student, I could have the opportunity to participate and make decisions that would affect the community. I hope I can take the initiative to protect and contribute to this loving community. I will make sure everyone feels comfortable when they have a chance to speak for themselves; I will listen to the stories of people around me and pass on their ideas; I will try to make their useful ideas come true; I will also focus on any problems that may exist but are ignored, so that they can be seen. I believe that with our efforts, we can make the community better and attract more members to join us in the future. Last but not least, I love this colorful place; I hope to grow with it.
